Please join us on Sunday October 02, 2016 for the 1st Annual “Scare Away Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk” presented by the Goodlet Farm Festival at Rock Spring, GA in memory of Audrey Hale who passed away due to breast cancer. 100% of the proceeds that are earned from this event will be donated to the Mary Ellen Locher Foundation. The foundation is a scholarship program that is for children who have either lost a parent to breast cancer or have a parent who is a breast cancer survivor.

This is a timed 5K on November 12, and can be a fun follow up for those who run the night before in the Dollywood Light the Way 5K. You don’t have to run in that race to participate in the Jingle Jog & Glow Run. The Jingle Jog Race time is 1 p.m. and the race begins at Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge.
100 Mile relay run from Kennesaw to Ringgold Georgia.
The General 100™ is a 4- or 7- member team running relay covering 100 miles of beautiful, challenging terrain beginning in Kennesaw, Georgia. The course primarily follows scenic country roads winding its way through North Georgia’s historic sites to the finish line in Ringgold, Georgia.
The 1st Annual 2015 STEPScenla 5K Color Run was held in downtown Marksville, September 19, 2015 with a turn out of over 1,500 participants not counting vendors, volunteers and spectators. STEPScenla was able to present a donation made out to St.Jude Research Hospital in the amount of $30,000. In addition STEPScenla will also be donating funds to each of the 2015 Heroes (local children) after the 1st of October once all final donations/expenses have been accounted for.

The top 25 men and women in the 5k will qualify to run the Magnum Mile Saturday night at 8pm, during the River Gorge Omnium Criterium, downtown Chattanooga.
The 3rd Annual Chattanooga Century Bike Ride (formerly 2 State 4 County Pedaling for Prevention) takes place along the scenic Tennessee-Georgia borders. Starting at Coahulla Creek High School in Dalton, Georgia, you will cross multi-counties as you ride through forested ridges and rolling hills. Good paved roads follow gently flowing mountain streams as you pass through beautiful pasture land rich in Native American history. The 35, 68, and 100 mile routes take you by Red Clay State Historic Park, the seat of Cherokee government from 1832 until the start of the Trail of Tears in 1838. The 68 mile route runs concurrently with the century route.
The Chattanooga 5K / 8K run, a benefit for Prison Prevention Ministries, can be run separately or in conjunction with the 3rd Annual Chattanooga Century (formerly 2 State 4 County Pedaling for Prevention) Bike Ride. For those training for IronMan it is a perfect training route. The entire event is chip timed by Scenic City Multisports.
Join us for Color the Curve After Dark - a night time run/walk that is all about having FUN!! This family friendly event will kick off pre-run festivities at 8:00 pm. The run will begin at dark. Show us how colorful, crazy and bright you can be as you run, walk or dance your way on the glow course at Coolidge Park.

The 4th annual Elizabeth’s Outrun Melanoma 5K and Walk will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at the Wolftever Creek Greenway in Collegdale, TN. Registration begins at 8:00 am and the run commences at 9:00 am. This is a family friendly event that can be done as a timed 5K run or a relaxing 1 mile walk.

Registration begins at 8:00 am and the events commence at 9:00 am, Along the 5K trail which takes you through the beautiful Veterans Memorial Park, you will also encounter a charming area complete with benches, wooden tree swing and duck pond. The trail continues over a pedestrian bridge and through a scenic wooded area and alongside Wolftever Creek and then loops around and returns runners to the starting point.

Registration and check-in begin at 8:00 am EDT. The 5K Run/Walk starts at 9:00 am EDT. The course is concrete construction and is a mostly flat, fast course. Parking is available at Imagination Station Playground located on Swinyar Drive just off Apison Pike Collegedale, TN. To participate in the timed run, the entry fee is $30.00. For the walk, the entry fee of $25.00. Children under 12 are free. A t-shirt and chance at doorprizes comes with each entry fee of $25.00 or more.

Come join us for the Ed Gentry Strawberry Chase held in coordination with the Strawberry Festival. Race begins and ends at the Rhea County Community Center. All runners receive a t-shirt and a goody bag.

Tucker’s Trek 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run is an annual run to remember and celebrate the life of Tucker Hunt and benefitting Emily’s Power for a Cure Neuroblastoma Foundation, an organization that Tucker supported with his whole heart! Tucker Hunt was a 13 year old boy from Chattanooga who unexpectedly passed away in December, 2010. Though Tucker’s time here on earth was too short, he was a generous and compassionate young man, filled with great enthusiasm, kindness, humor and love. He was and always will be an advocate for his dear friend, Emily. Tucker’s Trek lets our actions speak for those who have no voice.

The Operation Outreach 5K: Road / Trail Challenge will take place on April 9, 2016. It is a timed event; monitored by Scenic City Multisport. This is a one-of-a-kind race that features not only a 5K and a 3.5 mile trail run, but a combination of the two race courses. Proceeds of this race go to support the Soddy Daisy Food Bank and the Operation Outreach ministry of Mile Straight Baptist Church.
